Who polices Waterford
Waterford has its own police department, and town officers make most of the arrests here, handling booking and the initial bond.

Waterford cases are prosecuted at New London Superior Court, GA 10, next door in New London. Go to 112 Broad Street; the Huntington Street courthouse is a separate building and not where criminal cases are heard.
The court has no public lot, so allow time for street parking. Released, your date is on your paperwork; held, court is the next business day.
After the arrest
Whether you go home that night is the bond. A promise to appear or a posted bond and you leave with a date; otherwise you are held until court the next business day.
