Who polices Lyme
Lyme has no municipal police department and no resident trooper. Coverage comes from Connecticut State Police Troop F, so every arrest in Lyme is a state police arrest.
Lyme and Old Lyme are separate towns, which is worth saying because the names invite the assumption that they are one place. They are covered by the same troop, and both are GA 10 towns, so the practical answer is the same, but the paperwork will name one or the other and it is not a mistake.
Where your case goes
Lyme cases are prosecuted at New London Superior Court, GA 10, at 112 Broad Street, east along the shoreline. Go to Broad Street, not the Huntington Street courthouse, which handles different business.
Released by troopers, your date is on the paperwork you were given. Held, court is the next business day. There is no public lot at the courthouse.
After the arrest
