Send an inquiry
Send the short form below with the basics: your name, a phone number, the charge, and the court or town where the arrest happened. You do not need to describe what happened. Your inquiry goes to a criminal defense attorney who practices in your court. You will usually hear from an attorney within the hour during the day, or first thing in the morning if you send this overnight.
If someone is in custody
If the person arrested is being held right now, do not wait for the form. Call (860)484-7979. A person held after a family violence arrest is brought to court the next business day, and for other charges bond can sometimes be addressed sooner. On a recorded jail call, do not discuss what happened; those recordings are used by prosecutors.
